Catonic products are produced by quaternization of Guar Gum. High molecular weight structure of guar gum provides formulators with highly viscous solutions andthe cationic charge displays high affinity to hair and skin surfaces thereby reducing the negative effects of surfactants. Guar Gum is easily washed out and hence most commonly used in Rinse off formulations.
